L1.40 V-아/어 줄게요, V-아/어 줄까요? grammar = Shall I, Let me, I will ~attempt to help someone
Usage:
- Express an attempt to help someone = Shall I, Let me, I will…
- If the person receiving the help is of higher status or to be respected by the speaker (e.g. guests, elders,...), 아/어 드릴게요 or 아/어 드릴까요? is used.
Ngữ pháp V-아/어 줄게요, V-아/어 줄까요?
- Diễn đạt ý muốn giúp làm việc gì đó = Để tôi giúp…, tôi sẽ…
- Nếu người nhận giúp đỡ có địa vị cao hơn hoặc được người nói tôn trọng (ví dụ như khách hàng, người có tuổi…) thì 아/어 드릴게요 hoặc 아/어 드릴까요? được dùng.
Verb + 아/어 줄게요:
보다 -- 봐 줄게요 -- 봐 줄까요?
사다 -- 사 줄게요 -- 사 줄까요?
기다리다 -- 기다려 줄게요 -- 기다려 줄까요?
빌리다 -- 빌려 줄게요 -- 빌려 줄까요?
운전하다 -- 운전해 줄게요 -- 운전해 줄까요?
*돕다 -- 도와 줄게요 -- 도와 줄까요?
Examples:
1. 우산이 두 개 있는데 빌려 줄까요?
I have 2 umbrellas, so shall I lend you one?
2. 내가 도와줄게. (casual) Let me help you.
3. 제가 도와 드릴게요. (polite)
Let me help you with that.
4. 가방이 무겁게 보이니까 제가 들어 드릴까요?
The bag looks heavy, so let me bring it for you.
5. 아줌마, 여기상 좀 치워 주세요.
- 네, 손님, 금방 치워 드릴게요.
Ma’am, please clear this table.
- Yes, I will clear it right away.
6. 추우니까 창문을 닫아 주시겠어요?
- 네, 바로 닫아 줄게요.
- 네, 바로 닫아 줄게요.
It’s cold, so would you please close the window?
- Okey, I will close it now.
- Okey, I will close it now.
7. 더우니까 에어컨을 켜 드릴까요?
It’s hot, so shall I turn on the air conditioner.
8. 집까지 데려다 줄게요.
