    가... 여기서 달러를 바꿀 수 있습니까?
    나... 네, 얼마를 바꿔 드릴까요?
    가... 400달러를 전부 한국 돈으로 바꿔 주세요. 오늘은 1달러에 얼마입니까?
    나... 1200원이에요. 여권 좀 보여 주세요. 그런데 한국말을 아주 잘하시는군요!
    가... 뭘요. 아직 잘 못해요.
    나... 자, 여기 48,0000원 (사십팔만원) 있습니다. 여권도 받으세요. 안녕히 가세요.

    Vocabulary:

    바꾸다 = to exchange
    환율 = currency exchange rate
    달러 = dollar
    잔돈 = loose change
    전부 = everything
    여권 = passport
    보여 주다 = to show
    그런데 = by the way
    잘 = well
    뭘요 = don't mention it, not really
    아직 = not yet
    벌써 = already
    자 = expression "well"
    현금 = cash
    수표 = check
    비밀번호 = PIN

    Translate

    Unit 29. Please change this to Korean currency

    A... Can I change dollars please?
    B... Yes, how much would you like to change?
    A... I would like to change $400 into Korean currency. What is today's exchange rate?
    B... 1200 win. Could I see your passport, please? By the way, you seem to speak Korean very well.
    A... Thanks, but I can't speak very well yet.
    B... Well here is 480,000 won. And here is your passport. Have a nice day.

    Grammars and expressions:

    1. V-아/어 드리다 : do something for someone (polite form ㅐㄹ )

    어머니를 도와 드리세요.
    Give your mother a hand please.

    책을 사 드리겠어요.
    I will buy you a book.

    *무슨 책을 사 줄까요?
    - 역사책을 사 주세요.
    What book shall I buy for you?
    - Buy me a history book.

    2. V-는군요! : exclamatory ending (used to express the speaker's surprise)

    신성동에 사는군요!
    You live in sinsong-dong!

    한국말을 잘하시는군요!
    You speak Korean well!

    3. N을/를 잘하다 : to do N well

    수영을 잘하세요?
    - 아니오, 잘 못해요.
    Do you swim well?
     - No, I don't swim well.

    *못하다 : not to do N well

    나는 한국말를 아직 잘 못헤요.
    I don't speak Korean well yet.

    4. N을/를 N(으)로 바꾸다 : exchange N into N

    천 원을 잔돈으로 바꿀 수 있어요?
    Can you give me change for 1000 won?

    5. 아직 : not yet (used in negative sentence)

    학생들이 아직 다 안 왔어요.
    The students haven't come yet.

    6. N에게 N을/를 보여 주다 : to show N to N

    선생님께 공책을 보여 드렸어요.
    I showed my notebook to the teacher.

    우리에게 선물을 보여 주세요.
    Please show us your present.

    7. 그런데 : by the way/but

    그런데 몇 시에 도작했어요?
    By the way,  what time did you get here?

    한국말을 잘해요. 그런데 한국 노래를 못 해요.
    (한국말을 잘하는데 한국 노래를 못 해요.)
    I speak Korean well. But I can't sing Korean songs.

    8. 뭘요 : Not really/ Don't mention it.

    도와 주셔서 고맙습니다.
    - 뭘요.
    Thank you for helping.
    - Don't mention it.

    Notes:

    1. A-군요 is followed by a descriptive verb/adjective. V-는군요 follows an action verb.
    2. 뭘요 is used in informal speech.
