Grammars and expressions:
1. N에 있어요 : there is (N) in/at/on N
교실은 몇 층에 있어요?
What floor is the classroom?
내 방은 2층에 있어요.
My room is in the 2nd floor.
2. N1에는 N2이/가 있어요 : in/at/on N1 there be N2. (to emphasize N1)
2층에는 교실이 있어요.
In 2nd floor, there is a classroom.
아래층에 텔레비전에 있어요.
In downstairs, there is a TV.
3. V/A-아요/어요 : same as 습니다 (casual ending, less polite).
*If the ending word is 아/오 , we use 아요.
좋다 -- 좋아요.
오다 -- 와요.
가가 -- 가요.
*If the ending word is others, we use 어요.
쉬다 -- 쉬어요.
있다 -- 있어요.
*If the ending word is 하, we use 해요.
공부하다 -- 공부해요.
따뜻하다 -- 따뜻해요.
5. N-이에요/예요 : same as 입니다 (casual ending, less polite).
*If the ending is a consonant , we use 이에요.
도서관이에요. :It's library.
공원이에요. : It's a park.
*If the ending is a vowel, we use 예요.
학교예요. : It's a school.
침대예요. : It's a bed.
4. N1은/는 N2에 없어요 : no N1 at/in/on N2
책상은 방에 없어요.
There is no table in the room.
교실에는 텔레비전이 없어요.
In the classroom, there is TV.
5. 내 N : my N
내 방은 2층에 있어요.
My room is on the 2nd floor.
내 바지는 침대 위에 있어요.
My pants are on the bed.
6. N 옆에 : next to N
위에 : on, above
아래에: below
앞에: in front
뒤에: back

Notes:
1. 있다 express location when it comes after 에2. ㅂ니다/습니다 and 아요/어요 are both used in a polite style. But the former is the most polite while the latter is a casual (less) polite.
