1. N1은/는 무슨 N2-입니까? : What N2 be N1?

이것은 무슨 책입니까?
- 그것은 한국어책입니다.
What book is this?
- That's a Korean language book.

오늘은 무슨  요일입니까?
- 화요일 입니다.
What day is today?
- It's Tuesday.

2. N에 : on/in/at N

토요일에 학교에 가지 않습니다.
I don't go to school on Saturday.

주말에 공원에 갑니다.
I go to the park in weekend.

*N에는 : on/in/at N (to emphasize)

금요일에는 학교에서 공부합니다.
On Friday I study at school.

일요일에는 교회에 다닙니다.
I (often) go to the church on Sunday.

*N에도 : even/as well

철수는 일요일에도 학교에 갑니다.
Chulsoo goes to school even on Sunday.

주말에도 한국어를 배웁니다.
I learn Korean on weekend as well.

3. N1와/과 N2 : N1 and N2 ( 과 is used with a consonant. 와 is used with a vowel.)

일요일 : Sunday

Notes:

1. 에도/에는 is to emphasize the noun before it.
E.g 일요일에도: even on Sunday, 주말에는: on weekends

2. 와/과 :  is used to connect 2 nouns. 과 is used with noun ends with a consonant. 와 is used with noun ends with a vowel.

E.g 커피와 주스 : coffee and juice ;  빵과 우유 : bread and milk

3. -고  : is used to link sentences.

E.g 이 것은 책이고 저 것은 공책이다. - This the a textbook and that is a notebook.
